A completely renovated apartment in the centre of Lloseta featuring an extra glass bedroom in the upper floor which originally was used as a storage area. Assignment commissioned by Interior decorators D’Oliver Mobiliari i Complements in Palma de Mallorca.
Photography assignment completed for Kartingmania™ during the span of 3 days. This project was interesting because photographing sports commercially is more challenging then it looks.
A beautifully renovated, bright and spacious top floor apartment in a frontline community, enjoying direct sea and beach access. Photographed for First Mallorca during the summer of 2014.
As far as top of the line countryside fincas goes, this one is an absolute favourite. Located high in hills of Calvia yet with immediate access to nearby amenities, this spectacular finca has everything going for it. Panoramic views from all rooms to the tramuntana mountains, a large swimming pool, manicured gardens and complete privacy. The finca is built to the highest quality, and tastefully decorated. A perfect home in the mountain. Photographed for First Mallorca.
Spacious modern apartment located in a very sought after exclusive community in Nova Santa Ponsa on the seafront within walking distance of the new marina of Port Adriano.
Tastefully decorated penthouse in the exclusive hideaway that is the Anchorage Club. It is nearly impossible to capture the beach and pool areas correctly during the summer months with standard Pro-gear. Residents immediately take note of your presence and freeze with an understandable look of confusion and anger as you invade their privacy with what might as well be a shotgun.
Delightful minimalist apartment in the centre of Palma. Gems like these sometimes hide inside Palma’s old town area. Although it is only a 1 bedroom studio, great care was taken with the furnishings. If only all apartments looked this good.
Reminiscent of a bygone era, this enchanting estate was built in 1990 and has been meticulously renewed, restored, and expanded to create a seamless blend of old and new. Its peaceful surroundings ensures total tranquility with spectacular views to the Tramuntana Mountains and still only 20 minutes from the centre of Palma.
Magnificent country home in the hills of the Alaro mountains. This is one of my favourite possible locations for a home – at the base of any mountain. Most people tend to prefer sea views above everything else, but for me the best views have always been high-rise cityscape views or mountain views. The sea is over-rated.
Real estate photographers know that the position of the sun is of key importance when shooting at any time other then dusk. The villa showcased in this set was not photographed at the right time. Evidence of this can be seen on the right wall off the swimming pool, which is in somewhat of a shade. Not only do cameras record shade considerably darker then what the eye really sees, but most shadows cast a cold (blue) tint wherever they fall. The primary difference that separates seasoned real estate photographers is how each of them deal with colour casts from different light sources.
Minimalist villa’s with sea views are all the rage lately in Mallorca. Photographically, they are not only relatively easy to shoot, but they also look fantastic – the stuff of billboards and brochures. Clients tend to think that villa’s of this caliber are complicated to capture but the reality is quite the opposite: it is the modest looking properties which demand more effort, since they take extra work to make them stand out against fantastic villas like this one.
Captures from a recent shoot at the Ego Fitness Centre in Sofia, Bulgaria. The task at hand was to create promotional photography for the gym during a Happy Hour event. You’d never expect from such a small gym at a fairly offbeat location to have such a nice and fun atmosphere.
A luxury villa in Bendinat photographed partially at dusk, featuring modern interiors and quick access via highway to all directions of the island. This property is listed with First Mallorca.
A large manor style house located high in the area of Costa D’en Blanes. This property is unique because of its panoramic sea views and perched location. Full property spec sheet at First Mallorca.
A newly constructed luxury villa located in Cala Vinyas, sitting high above a cliff and offering sweeping panoramic sea views in all directions. Only a few images are displayed in this set. The rest can be found at Inmobiliaria NOVA.
As photographers with a passion for architecture, visiting the Guggenheim had always been something of a mission. Having read numerous publications, it was clear that this iconic building was something different. But it wasn’t until we stood in front of this behemoth that we understood how complicated its design was.
Hallstatt is a tiny picturesque village buried deep in the Austrian Alps on the shores of the Hallstätter See. Originally famous for its salt mines, Hallstatt was accessible solely by boat for a long time. Today Hallstatt can be reached via a narrow tunnel built primarily through rock blasting. For a small village of merely 946 inhabitants, Hallstatt certainly gets visited a lot. It is a place with stunning nature, beautifully decorated housing, friendly people and delicious food.
Our favourite yarn boutique PrejdiBG was in need of some promotional shots for a new range of handmade winter accessories. The range features a colourful variety of crochet knit hats, scarfs, and fingerless mittens made of high-end yarns containing plenty of wool for warmth during the cold seasons.
Featuring ultra modern architecture, the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart is a marvel of engineering like no other. Each side of the building has a unique facade. What you see in this set is ONE building, photographed from 8 different angles at dusk.
I was sent to photograph the cemetery in Soller back when I was a novice photographer. As far as creative assignments went, this one was very unusual. Especially since I didn’t even know what exactly I was there to photograph.. ghosts? As I battled my way up the one-way maze of Soller’s narrow roads, I met a little old lady walking up a very steep road. I offered her a ride, not knowing she was headed to the cemetery herself.
