Theory4 was originally founded by two photographers: Elena Hekimova & Eduardo Marquez in 2007.
Eddie: Founder of Theory4
Bio.
Introducing Theory4 - a company name so mysteriously abstract, even Eddie himself sometimes forgets what it stands for. Legend has it that it represents the four pillars of his expertise: Architecture, Interiors, Low-light, and Travel photography. But honestly, it could also be the number of times he's accidentally left his lens cap at some luxury villa.
Hailing from Neuquen, Argentina, Eddie's passport has more stamps than a collector's edition of a trendy travel magazine. Costa Rica, Panama, Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, Russia, Spain – if there's a place with good light, he's probably snapped a photo there.
After getting a degree from the University of Maryland in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany (yes, that's a real place), Eddie dove headfirst into the wild world of design and photography. His work has graced the covers of international magazines, newspapers, books, calendars, posters, and even those fancy promotional brochures you pretend to read..
When Eddie isn't busy photographing multi-million euro projects, you'll catch him globe-trotting or perfecting new processing techniques for the eleventy-bajillionth time. We're not sure if he's trying to break a world record or just really, really loves adjusting contrast levels.
Since March 2022, Eddie has taken on the prestigious role of Director of Photography for Engel & Völkers Mallorca: South West division. His job? Training new photographers and maintaining the sky-high standard he set back in 2014 – probably while sipping coffee in a quirky café and contemplating the meaning of Theory4.
